The system sets ambitious targets in all areas of sustainability (environment, economy, society) to be met by 2030 and continually assesses these objectives on an ongoing basis using a comprehensive and transparent target system. The plan is to implement an effective recycling system and attain recycling rates of 55% for plastics and 70% for beverage cartons by 2030.

The entire process chain, from packaging manufacturers to brand owners, retailers, municipalities and recyclers, is integrated to facilitate effective and efficient recycling. This means that the establishment of collection systems is to go hand in hand with efforts to enhance the recyclability of products, ensuring the complete closure of resource loops.
