Coca‑Cola Switzerland – New portrait series puts our employees’ commitment and dedication front and center

A new video series presents portraits of several employees of Coca‑Cola Switzerland who show how they are championing topics in their day-to-day work that are also important to our society.

The focus is on our employees' personal commitment. Because ultimately, it is these acts that collectively shape corporate values and make Coca‑Cola Switzerland's engagement in local initiatives possible. Our people are the secret ingredient.

Episode #1: "Because we all share responsibility " – Jessica, Apprentice

Jessica has a clear message to share: “Litter has no place on the ground. It needs to be disposed of properly.” An apprentice at Coca‑Cola Switzerland, she volunteered for Cleanup Day 2019 to work with more than 50 of her colleagues to clean up litter around the headquarters in Dietlikon/Brüttisellen.

Through her activities, Jessica is showing that our environment and our future are very important to her: “I am thinking a lot about what we as humans cause through our behavior. On days like these, you see we still have a long way to go.”

World Cleanup Day 2019: Switzerland stands out

Thousands of helpers – from preschool teachers to politicians – came together in September 2019 to clean up litter in Switzerland and make the country even prettier. All over the country, teams cleaned up their local areas.

World Cleanup Day is one of the world’s largest global mass movements, with 18 million volunteers in 157 countries working together on a single day to ensure a world without litter. The idea was born in Estonia in 2008, when 50,000 people teamed up to clean up the entire country in just five hours. It was a move that inspired the whole world.
