Cedric El-Idrissi and Anita Kälin joining the management team at Coca-Cola HBC Switzerland

There are two new additions to the management team at Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (CCHBC), effective 1 December 2022. Cedric El-Idrissi, as Commercial Director, is assuming overall responsibility for sales, while Anita Kälin is becoming Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Director.

Cedric El-Idrissi is moving to CCHBC Switzerland from Mondelēz International, where he was Managing Director for Switzerland. He started his career in marketing at Wander, before occupying various marketing and sales positions at PepsiCo, where he eventually became General Manager with responsibility for the Swiss and Austrian markets.

He has a doctorate in business administration from the University of Zurich, a master’s degree from the University of Bern and a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University.

In the early years of his career, El-Idrissi represented Switzerland in the 400 metres hurdles at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. The former competitive athlete also wants to hit the ground running in his new role: “I’m looking forward to working with the team at Coca-Cola HBC Switzerland and giving our all so we can grow, together with our partners.”

Anita Kälin enriches the CCHBC Switzerland team with her long-standing experience in managerial communications roles at well-known international pharmaceutical, consumer goods and IT companies. Most recently, she was Head of Corporate Affairs Switzerland and Austria for the commercial organisation, production facility and international hub of biopharmaceutical company Bristol Myers Squibb in Switzerland and Austria. Aside from her career and family, Anita Kälin spends time volunteering: she serves as an elected judge at Schwyz Criminal Court on a part-time basis.

Anita Kälin is already familiar with Coca-Cola. Prior to her career in the pharmaceutical industry, she worked in the Corporate Affairs team at the Coca-Cola Company in Switzerland, where she managed brand communication for the Coca-Cola Life launch. “I’m really looking forward to the great opportunity of returning to the Coke system and working with the motivated team to ensure that we are valued as a reliable partner for refreshing, sustainable and innovative solutions and products,” says Kälin.
