Coca-Cola HBC Switzerland reaches another sustainability milestone

As part of the Coca-Cola HBC Group, Switzerland is taking on a pioneering role and has once again reached an important milestone on the path to the Net Zero by 2040 target.

Last week, Coca-Cola HBC Switzerland’s entire sales force fleet was converted to electric vehicles. The fleet conversion primarily aims to reduce CO₂ emissions. To achieve this, a total of 177 vehicles have been replaced with Škoda Enyaqs, a greener alternative. This way, we are reducing our yearly emissions by an impressive amount of 88% – which corresponds to approximately 700 tons of CO₂ saved each year.

The official handover of the new Škoda Enyaq took place at the Umwelt Arena Schweiz in Spreitenbach. From now on, all field service employees will be traveling exclusively with electric vehicles. With this transition, the fleet achieves an electric vehicle share of 90%—a crucial step toward more sustainable mobility.

„By choosing a green fleet, we are once again making a strong statement about our commitment to sustainability. Our goal is to contribute to the vision of a more sustainable world, not only in mobility but across all our activities,“ says Jürg Burkhalter, General Manager at Coca-Cola HBC Switzerland.
