“2X CHRISTMAS” – BOXES FILLED WITH TOGETHERNESS

FOR THE TENTH TIME, 30 COCA-COLA HBC EMPLOYEES VOLUNTEERED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR AS PART OF THE “2X CHRISTMAS” SOLIDARITY CAMPAIGN, WORKING SIDE BY SIDE WITH THE SWISS RED CROSS TO PREPARE MORE THAN 1,800 DONATION PARCELS FOR PEOPLE AFFECTED BY POVERTY IN SWITZERLAND.

Coca-Cola is proud to have been supporting this popular initiative for over ten years. Together with the Swiss Red Cross (SRC), more than 1,800 donation parcels containing food and hygiene products were prepared to ensure they reach those who need them most. These parcels support people in difficult life situations across Switzerland.

For many employees, the day was a powerful reminder of how small actions can have a big impact. Coca-Cola HBC employees rolled up their sleeves, exchanged ideas and quickly realised that working together makes a real difference and is genuinely enjoyable. Ralf Kahles, Event Manager at Coca-Cola HBC, puts it this way: “I think it’s wonderful that this initiative exists. Together, we work really well and quickly. Despite our different roles, we all pursue the same goal: to make a big impact in the short time we have here. Seeing so many people engage together with Coca-Cola and donate in Switzerland makes me very proud.”


The “2x Christmas” campaign has existed for decades and is organised by the Swiss Red Cross together with partners such as Coop, Swiss Post and SRG SSR. It supports people who struggle to make ends meet due to limited financial resources. In Switzerland, this affects around 8.1% of the permanent resident population – approximately 708,000 people. Coca-Cola HBC is pleased to make a valuable contribution through the involvement of its employees.

Initiatives like “2x Christmas” mean more to Coca-Cola HBC than a tradition. They clearly show how much can be achieved when different stakeholders join forces. Pascal Mökli, Head of Logistics at the Swiss Red Cross, concludes: “The commitment shown by this dedicated and motivated team was impressive. With great enthusiasm and energy, they achieved something truly meaningful and clearly demonstrated what is possible with Coca-Cola. Many thanks to all the volunteers.”
