Coca‑Cola Switzerland is committed to a modern, diverse Switzerland, free of discrimination. The company, which has been based in Switzerland for over 80 years, is publicly taking a stand in support of coexistence in our country. By making this move, Coca‑Cola Switzerland is tying in with its longstanding tradition of standing up for equal rights and tolerance all over the world.

The vast diversity in a small country like Switzerland requires understanding and solidarity. As a company that has been producing locally since 1936 and has around 800 employees, we want to do our part to make sure that the great diversity in our country can be lived by everyone. That’s why we are taking a stand in support of a modern, diverse Switzerland, free of discrimination.

We are making a statement for a Switzerland where people stand #together!

Martin Kathriner, member of the management at Coca‑Cola Switzerland says: Diversity is a key part of our success story. You see it in our employees and consumers alike. As a local company that produces the majority of its products here in Switzerland, we want to show that we support the people of this country and take a stand when it comes to coexistence.

Coca‑Cola Switzerland is standing up for equal rights, diversity and tolerance.

Coca‑Cola supports equal rights, diversity and tolerance.

Coca‑Cola is enjoyed by many in Switzerland. Regardless of age, gender, skin color, religion or sexual orientation. In the same vein, we are committed to equal rights, diversity and tolerance all over the world. Discrimination and exclusion are not acceptable to us in any form. For many decades now, Coca‑Cola has regularly raised awareness of these matters in well-known ad campaigns.

Support for the LGBTQ community

Coca‑Cola has also long been a strong supporter of the LGBTQ community (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer). In the United States, for example, the company has received a 100 percent rating on the “HRC Corporate Equality Index,” which measures fairness and equal rights in the workplace for non-heterosexual employees, for 14 years now. This is one more way Coca‑Cola is expressing its support for equal rights, diversity and tolerance in our society.
