The goal of the campaign is to inspire people in Switzerland to cultivate a new appreciation for everyday things. At the same time, we are helping to support food service establishments and hotels after reopening.

Coca‑Cola Switzerland suspended commercial advertising for all products in April. During the COVID-19 crisis, the safety and well-being of the communities where we live, work and offer our products were paramount. We made a significant monetary donation to the Swiss Red Cross, which provided fast and direct assistance to people living in poverty, and we supplied free drinks to frontline heroes at hospitals and in the military.

One million Swiss residents invited to enjoy a Coca‑Cola

In July, Coca‑Cola will be resuming its activities, still under the shadow of the Coronavirus and its effects. In the #WieNochNie campaign, we aim to help bring people back together while at the same time supporting the Swiss food service industry – especially during these unusual times.

To that end, we’re inviting one million people living in Switzerland to enjoy a free Coca‑Cola. Gift certificates began arriving this week directly in mailboxes at households that do not have posted labels rejecting advertising.

“By launching this campaign, we’d like to join the Swiss population in raising a glass to a bit of restored normalcy after the COVID-19 crisis,” explains Flavio Calligaris, Operational Marketing & New Business Development Manager at Coca‑Cola HBC Switzerland.

Inviting one million people to enjoy a free Coca‑Cola marks the start of the #WieNochNie campaign. Various activities during the summer months are geared toward inspiring people in Switzerland to cultivate a new appreciation for everyday things we used to take for granted, valuing them like never before.

Before the kickoff, Coca‑Cola already delighted a number of guests at various restaurants around Switzerland: As a special surprise, Coca‑Cola Switzerland picked up the tab for their meals.
