Barbara Tönz: A new challenge following 14 years at Coca‑Cola in Switzerland
Barbara Tönz, until now Commercial Director with overall responsibility for the Swiss market, is switching to Coca‑Cola in Austria as of 1 December 2012. In her new function Tönz will be responsible for the Austrian commercial team. She came to Coca‑Cola HBC Schweiz 14 years ago and has made a significant contribution to the company’s successful growth. Thanks to her commitment, Tönz led Nestea to become the number one iced tea brand. Gawlowski accordingly pays tribute to her achievements: “As a member of the Leadership Team, Barbara Tönz played a central role for our company in the past five years and leaves behind a major legacy. It is among other things down to her that Coca‑Cola today has full coverage in the Swiss retail trade. Never before has this been the case since the brand was introduced over 75 years ago”.
