Jan Lunelli becomes new Sales Director and member of the management at Coca‑Cola HBC Switzerland. Together with his team he is going to lead different sales channels throughout Switzerland. Jan Lunelli is following Rico Uesluek as from early January 2020.
At the beginning of January 2020, Coca‑Cola Hellenic Switzerland appointed Jan Lunelli as new Sales Director and member of the management. In January 2017 already, he came from Diageo to Coca‑Cola HBC as Head of International Key Accounts.
Jan is bringing more than 20 years of experience in the FMCG industry. He performed divers marketing and sales functions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and is having in-depth knowledge of the Swiss consumer goods industry. Moreover, he held the position as Country Director at Diageo Switzerland. Jan graduated from Schloss Reichartshausen European Business School in Germany and speaks German, French, English and Italian.
Reinforcing the local production
In the context of his new role, Jan Lunelli is going to be member of the Swiss management team. In collaboration with his colleagues, he will further develop the local production − a factor which is important to him: "Local production has a lot of advantages. Shorter routes of transport reduce the environmental impact, for example, contrary to import channels. We aim at serving our consumers with a diversified portfolio of products. 95% of the ingredients needed are delivered by local suppliers, such as sugar supplied by Swiss farmers. This way, we are significantly contributing to value creation in our country."
