Personal development

At Coca‑Cola HBC, we attach a great deal of importance to the development of every single employee. With our Performance Management system, we develop employees personally, systematically and effectively.

To begin with, the employee and Team Leader discuss their expectations and agree annual objectives. We don't just demand the average, but that extra portion of Swissness: maximum quality. At multiple times during the year, we review what progress has been made towards achieving the agreed objectives. To conclude, all employees are rated, with this assessment forming part of the People Development Forum (PDF).

As part of the PDF, Managers and Senior Managers jointly discuss strengths, development options as well as their employees’ potential suitability for future positions. Open and direct dialogue is part of our corporate culture.

The PDF results form the basis of the Individual Development Plan in which we record the development and systematic-implementation steps. By doing this, we help our employees perform better and also ensure succession planning at Coca‑Cola HBC is systematic.

Professional development and training

At Coca‑Cola HBC, our employees' expertise and experience, their individual achievements, and enjoyment are the basis of our success. For this reason, our Learning & Development department aims to offer personalised and suitable qualification and training opportunities.

Internal courses and training programmes are available for all employees. Our Leadership & Capabilities department offers specific training programmes with focus on leadership. Additionally, our Commercial Academy department offers training courses focusing on customers and sales. And our Supply Chain Capability department has a specific training programm for our employees in Supply Chain. In particular, we'd like to highlight our Operator Development Programm which focuses on the development of our production employees.
